Lotus-Inspired Artificial Big Green Leaves Stage Mayday Concert in Hangzhou

In May 2025, Mayday, the legendary Chinese rock band beloved by generations (especially those who grew up in the 80s and 90s), held a unique concert by Hangzhou's West Lake.Adding a magical touch to the event were our lotus-inspired artificial big green leaves and the mascot "Carrot", creating a stunning spectacle on the lake itself.

 

 

 

These giant, hyper-realistic leaves, crafted by hand from waterproof foam paper, reached up to 2 meters in diameter and 3 meters in height. Each leaf featured meticulously hand-painted colors and textures for maximum realism. Arranged on traditional wooden boats alongside "Carrot", they formed an unforgettable West Lake vista.

 

 

 

 

 

Prioritizing public safety, installation occurred overnight. The artificial big green leaves were mounted onto sturdy green pipes secured into bases and firmly fixed with screws. Our safety-first approach ensured the entire display, built to withstand wind and rain, remained securely anchored throughout the event.

 

 

 

 

Every lotus-inspired artificial big green leaf is carefully shaped and painted by hand. Using strong paper-like material (light, waterproof, and eco-friendly!), our artists create life-sized leaves that look and feel real. No machines-just skilled hands making each piece unique.
