2003
Hi, I'm Alissa – a passionate handmade creator. I've been on my crafting journey since 2003, focusing on paper wedding decorations like boutonnieres and bridal bouquets. That same year, I founded my own brand, FLYING FLOWERS Studio.

2004
In 2004, I opened the very first handmade craft shop on China's e-commerce platforms. As Flying Flowers Studio, I sold my original small paper flowers and silk mesh flowers through the store, primarily for wedding accessories, party decorations, and floral arrangements.

2006
In 2005, I founded the first handmade flower training program in China. I started teaching across the country and was invited to provide hands-on craft skills and aesthetic training for various companies and schools.

2008
In 2008, the handmade flowers I designed and created became an online sensation. I was invited for an interview with Alibaba's official team and Dragon TV. In May of the same year, I compiled my years of crafting experience and works into a handmade flower craft book, which was published by Hunan Fine Arts Publishing House.

2010
In 2010, as giant paper flowers began to gain popularity in China, we shifted our focus to the development and design of giant paper flowers for the first time. They were mainly used for wedding scene decorations, photo shoot props, and party decorations.

2015
In 2015, we transformed from a solo studio into a design and manufacturing company, building a team of 20 people, including paper artists, production staff, dyers, and sales personnel. We became the first professional paper art company in China to operate with an "e-commerce + physical factory" model.

2016
In 2016, our company began expanding into overseas markets and participated in several international trade shows, such as the MEGA SHOW in Hong Kong and the New York Stationery Show. Through these events, we learned the latest crafting techniques and explored cutting-edge paper art products. My dream is to integrate Chinese elements and culture into paper art and share it with the world.

2018
In 2018, our company introduced the concept of "paper art display for commercial spaces" for the first time. As the market evolved, the applications of paper art became increasingly diverse, covering large shopping malls, brand window displays, product launches, brand events, and more. Since then, our business has shifted more toward the field of commercial display.

2024
In 2024, our team expanded to 50 members, bringing in more talented designers. We have developed over 5,000 original products, which are exported to more than 30 countries and regions around the world. We have also established partnerships with many world-renowned brands, such as Chanel, Dior, Hermès, and Häagen-Dazs.

2026
In 2026, our company owns a 3,000-square-meter factory, supported by a design team of 20 and a production team of 50. We have integrated cross-disciplinary crafts such as ironwork, fabric art, lanterns, sculpture, and art installations. We have become a leading paper art display factory in China, excelling in both customized solutions and standardized production within the paper art industry.
