Artistic Butterfly Photography Installation

Simulation
We scanned the wings of more than 100 butterfly species at high resolution, and then accurately restored the color of the butterfly wings through spectral analysis, with the color difference value controlled within ΔE<0.5, reaching the color restoration standard of professional photography. At the same time, we used bionic materials, whose surface touch is more than 90% similar to real butterfly wings. Therefore, compared with the common flat-printed butterfly products on the market, our 3D simulated butterflies have a stronger sense of reality.

Lightweight
The Art Butterfly Photographic Installation uses a polymer composite material weighing only 1.2g/cm³ and a lightweight paper of 120g/m², so that each butterfly of average size (wingspan 20cm) weighs only 8-10 grams. The total weight of the entire installation (including 50 butterflies) does not exceed 1.5 kg, which is more than 60% lighter than similar products made of traditional metal or glass.

Not Easy To Fade
We use pigments with light fastness of more than 8 levels and UV curing technology. This allows the pigment to form a strong bonding layer with a thickness of up to 15μm with the surface of the material, effectively preventing the fading and shedding of the color. After 1000 hours of accelerated aging test (equivalent to 3 years of natural environment exposure), the color retention rate of our products is as high as 96.5%, which is much higher than the industry average of 85%.
